     William Panton's apprenticeship began in 1765, with John Gordon and Company of Charleston, where he served as a clerk until 1772.  In 1772, Gordon appointed Thomas  Netherclift and William Panton his attorneys to manage his mercantile business and supervision of the operation of Godron's plantation and his other interests.
      "The other partners in Panton, Leslie and Company -----  Charles McLatchy and William Panton ---made their homes in the Floridas, although Panton did spend aboaut six months in Nassau, september 1784 to March 1785, where he purchased a home."
       "By April 1785, Panton had moved to Penscola, here he lived for the next fifteen years.  Panton remained a bachelor."

She was married to John INNERARITY on 26 Jul 1776 in Brechin, Angus, Scotland.1
John INNERARITY was christened on 7 Aug 1749.1  He died in 1805 in Stockwell, London, Eng.1  He was born of Brechin, Angus, Scot.1  He was a 1st - tanner,  2nd - mercantile.1   At St. Marks (San Marcos de Apalache) on 24 June 1792)  Henrietta PANTON and John INNERARITY had the following children:

9.     John INNERARITY1 was born on 11 Nov 1783 in , Aberdeen, Scotland.1  He died on 28 Jul 1854 in Pensacola, Escambia, FL.1  He was buried in St Michaels Cemetery, Pensacola, Escambia, FL.2  Spanish citzenship October 6, 1812.

!Memorial: He died as he lived, a sincere Christian."  He raised to commercial pursuits and while engaged  in them with ardor he found time to cultivate Letters, Arts, Jurisprudence, Medicine, Divinity, and Human Charities.   Buried in St Michaels Cemetery.

He was married to Maria Victoria DEVILLIERS.2  Maria Victoria DEVILLIERS was born in 1790 in , LA.  !Census: 1820 Pensacola age 34 married  John INNERARITY and Maria Victoria DEVILLIERS had the following children:

He was married to Heloise Isabella TROUILLET on 6 Aug 1808 in Mobile, Mobile, AL.2  Heloise Isabella TROUILLET died in 1820.    James INNERARITY and Heloise Isabella TROUILLET had the following children:
